Reviewz - Wilz Discords the walk

How are you? Thanks for stopping by and visiting,

Inspired by Nat and Jamie of Live Through the Lens podcast which also have their own Discord, I too decided to take the walk onto Discord too,

Discord as Jamie of Live Through the Lens podcast describes it best is an online forum/message service, there is different channels on there you can use to separate content and you can also add voice channels, I like to think it is a more instant way for groups and people to connect,

I used to listen to Nat and Jamie on SBS radio but now they have started their very own podcast and their content is so inspiring, it always encourages me so much and if you want to get into a creative career or working on a creative project, they have lots of helpful content, tips and tricks,

On the blog Discord server I have started out by creating 4 text channels, a general channel for general announcements and chat, a channel for you all to share blog ideas, a channel for product reviewz and one for creating connectionz with other Walkerz, but slowly but surely I will keep adding more bits and pieces to the serve to make it more homely and fresh and inspiring,

I hope as I learn more about Discord and as I can add more content on there I can reach out to a lot more people and create a lot of fresh new connectionz, I also think it is a great learning opportunity for myself as a student too, I am always open to learning and trying out lots of new communication/social media platforms and how they work, if you are a communication student do you like to try and do the same too?

But I am also curious if you have experience with using Discord please comment some of your favourite or nifty functions on there that you think will be most helpful to new users, I like to think what is most helpful is that if we share what we know with each other, it helps each of us to learn a lot more,
